About a month ago, in a post I wrote called Wouldn’t it be beautiful? I dreamt about a hideaway that was always a beautifully comfortable temperature inside. Today, Nest was announced, and it brings us a few steps closer to realizing that. It’s beautifully designed, a thoughtful mix of industrial design and user experience, with Mike Matas leading the UI design.
